I was drawn into the mortgage business by my interest in financially related topics. Since I was young I had an interest in all matters relating to finance and how money works. I combined my interest in finance and my experience in customer service into a mortgage career beginning in 2002. Prior to the mortgage business I spent seven years working at Nordstrom and four years working in international sales for the snowboard industry. My mortgage career has been built on client referral by providing sound mortgage advice, excellent customer service, and putting my client’s best interest first. My goal is that each client I meet with leaves our meeting with a better understanding of the mortgage process and their financial matters. I enjoy serving my clients and strive to create a uniquely pleasurable mortgage experience.
In order to create a pleasurable mortgage experience, I focus on three main areas.
Customer Service: The basis of great customer service is availability and communication. I update my voice mail every morning. If you receive my voicemail, you will know if I am in the office and have an idea of my schedule. This enables you to know when I will return calls.
Pre-approvals: I will take time in the discovery phase of the pre-approval process to go into detail on your financial profile. The details allow me to discover your strengths and any potential challenges on the transaction. Knowing the challenges allows me to address them upfront and prevent possible problems so they will not “pop up” during the escrow period. Once you have your pre-approval letter you will have a full understanding of your loan and the confidence to begin shopping for your home.
Updates: I will send you updates on the status of your transaction each Friday during the escrow period. I not only send them to you, but to everyone involved in the transaction. Many people are involved in the process and timelines are critical, communication helps keep the file moving forward and prevents unnecessary issues due to lack of communication. My goal with the updates is to keep you informed so you are never left wondering what is happening.
